A splendid day

Yesterday saw the sun break through (hooray) and I was on the road first to Burwell to sit at the back for their APCM (really – first one for me for 10 years! – all done with a smile in half an hour) then more importantly celebrate the Eucharist with them, thank a splendid group of retirees and pray for those elected to follow in their footsteps.

Then down to Linton for Messy Church Does Science (my breathing test compared dismally with the kids but I am legally alive…) and blessing a new set of puppets. Splendid!

Just another day in the life of a jobbing bishop.
