Worship that engages our Everyday Lives: resources from LICC

LICC write:
Sunday by Sunday, we gather. The worshipping people of God. Monday through Saturday we scatter. The worshipping people of God in everyday life. It’s a powerful rhythm – gathering, scattering, gathering again – of worship, service, blessing, challenge, learning and growing in fruitfulness for Christ wherever we are.
As someone who’s connected with our work with churches through the Imagine Project, I’d love you to know about a new set of resources that will help you to design and lead services that help people experience this rhythm of gathered and scattered life. We have created these in collaboration with Sam and Sara Hargreaves, directors of engageworship.  This is how we think the resources could help your church:
Whole-Life Worship – five free animated films to inspire a congregation
These short films (freely downloadable here) can be used in worship services as a way of inviting congregations to discover how our worship together connects with worship in our everyday lives.
Whole-Life Worship – the Journey Pack to support service planning
The films are part of an extensive portfolio of materials that we’ve put together with Sam and Sara to create five complete worship services. They’re easy to tailor for your context and the USB pen that comes with the pack makes it simple to access the materials you want to use.
Whole-Life Worship – the Study Guide for groups to go deeper
Five Bible studies – available on the USB pen above, online, or in print – offer opportunities to go deeper in exploring the biblical foundations and implications of whole-life worship.
Whole-Life Worship – the Book to spark the imagination
A rich, warm exploration of the biblical foundations and practical frameworks to fuel gathered/scattered worship from Sam and Sara Hargreaves. They also offer a wealth of usable examples to spark ideas for service and worship leaders across the traditions. Get your copies of the book or order it as part of the bundle, the most cost effective way to get the full Whole Life Worship suite of resources.
Whole-Life Worship – the Training Days to grow a team
Sam and Sara offer regional workshops for service leaders and worship teams wanting to explore these ideas and resources further. Check out the details here.
I do trust these new resources will serve you in all you’re seeking to do in growing a community of disciples who are learning the way of Jesus in their context, in these days.
