Ministry News
If you have been wondering about what is planned for the next clergy conference, we have a new-look conference being launched for 2018. Early in the new year, Bishop Stephen will be writing to you with further details, so please keep an eye out!
Rev Dr Rob Taylor was licensed as the Bishops Officer for Growing Vocations on Friday 4 November. He will soon be out and about in the Diocese and so please do invite him along to your Deanery meetings or church gathering throughout 2017 so he is able to meet you and help support your ministry. Clergy sickness. Please can we also remind clergy that if you are signed-off by a doctor through illness, you notify the archdeacon’s office, providing them with a copy of your doctor’s sign-off note.

A Christmas Near You
Have you heard about the Church of England “Christmas Near You” initiative? Well, the Diocese of Ely now has 377 Christmas services listed, so thank you to everyone who has added their services so far.
For those who haven’t heard about it, parishes are being invited to visit AChristmasNearYou.org/upload and complete a simple form, by no later than the 1st December, in order to register their Christmas church services.
On the 1st of December www.AChristmasNearYou.org will be live for anyone to be able to find the nearest Christmas services to them (or search for services in a particular location).
