Third Space

The next Third Space Conversations is planned for the White Horse Waterbeach, Sunday 7th February @ 7pm. Dr Emma Wild-Wood will be speaking on ‘Thinking through Migration.’

Emma is the lecturer in World Christianities in the Divinity Faculty at the University of Cambridge, and was previously Director of the Cambridge Centre for Christianity Worldwide. She has a doctorate from the University of Edinburgh and has taught in the DR Congo and Uganda. Emma will explore the stories of migration in the Bible and how, in the light of these stories, Christians in the UK might think and act towards recent migrants. Emma has wide experience of working in cross cultural mission contexts, and this promises to be an informative and stimulating event. There will be lots of opportunities for questions and comments!

Bob White, Professor of Geo-Physics at Cambridge will speak on Volcanos and Suffering on 6th March.
