Open to everyone including those who wish to become Authorised Lay Ministers and those who may like some update training
‘Youth Ministry’ training is aimed at being an introductory guide to Youth Ministry and Discipleship amongst Young People.
The content of the course will present a 5-point framework for effective youth work and for developing our discipleship of young people.
The course will also provide lots of information, tops tips, theories and ‘how to’s…’ in many practical aspects of engaging with young people, running small groups, mentoring, running events, residentials and linking to Schools etc.
Whether you are new to working with teenagers, or experienced but want a ‘refresher’, the aims of the course are to breed confidence in all those wishing to effectively reach and engage with young people and aid them in their exploration of faith.
Dates for this course are: Mondays 7.30pm to 10.00pm
