Noah and the Flood

Noah the donkey, owned by All Saints’ Church in Melbourn, near Cambridge, was at the centre of a five-hour rescue when he fell into a water-filled storm drain, after metal thieves stole the cover from his field. Noah was freed by firefighters and a Just Giving page has been started to help fund his recovery care, with more than £700 pledged so far. The donkey is well-loved in the village having starred in the church’s Nativity services for the past five years.
