Another youth visit – this time to BENCH, the youth group at Bluntisham, another initiative of the energetic and visionary team there led by Sheila Anthony and Susan Bowden-Pickstock. They got to Grill the Bishop (ground rules: they say what they really think, I say what I really think, and no-one reports us to the authorities…), made massive angels (they’re arty round there), and came up with a great gallery (above) of ideas for the Church of the Future. Well done to them – and I’ll be back in this lively benefice in Lent to help Susan with a course based on (what else) art.
